Chuck Owings for Commissioner

I consider myself lucky to have  lived in Johnson County all my life, but for the last  few years I've become concerned about the direction our county is moving, such as the county's dwindling money reserves and policies that favor certain groups.  I'm eager to address these and other issues as Presiding  Commissioner.

My conservative values and sense of fairness were formed by my rural childhood.  I attended elementary school in Centerview and Warrensburg High School.   After graduating from the University of Missouri, I returned to Johnson County to run my family's farms, the sixth generation in my family to do so.  I've lived with my wife, Pam, on our farm near Centerview for 39 years.

I look forward to visiting with folks throughout the county, hearing their ideas, and doing what's right for Johnson County.

I ask for your support and your vote. Thanks to all,

Chuck
